The guy who designed it has an older model and the firmware doesn't support the new screen the Mega ships with. So mesh leveling must be done from a terminal with gcode commands. The prints can look really clean and the little touch ui lets you control the printer very easily.My boyfriend and I had an Anycubic i3 mega, it was a nightmare, customer service was horrible. I wish I could stretch more, but $500 is already stretching haha.

I have a budget of $500 CAD and currently on Amazing the i3 Mega and Ender 3 Pro are the same price. However, Anycubic has gone slightly differently when it comes to the base. I have a staunchly anti i3, and neutral, and a staunchly pro i3 lmaoIf I'd do it again I'd still get the Anycubic honestly thing just works and took next to no time to setup, came packed so well plus it looks pretty slick and matches my workstation but that's neither here no there just an aesthetics thing.Got a i3 mega for about half a year and cant recommend ot enough. Ender 3 has great community support, beautiful prints and more user friendly.I think the ender has better profile support from the community by far though so you're on your own with the Anycubic as far as dialing in profiles but I've printed things out that look as good as the best I've seen from the Ender no question with a lot of experimentation.
