On the bright side, there are important messages and the book does have its hilarious moments. Then she manages to take the world's worst school picture. It made me think of Groundhog Day. Her day gets worse when she shows up to the school carnival and her boyfriend, Tristan Wheeler, is super bummed because his band, whack-a-mole, can't get a gig on the stage. It is a really cute concept, (this is not a spoiler it is on the back of the book and the essence of the story) to relieve a bad monday again.
